#iloveportland was started by Allan Barrett. Allan has a passion for his coastal home town, Portland, Victoria, 3305, situated 359km from Melbourne, and now calls it home. Portland's stellar fishing, whale viewings, perfect beaches, great south west walk and lots of other great things to see and do, have made Portland a favourite holiday destination for many. Possessing both a passion for marketing and Portland, Allan saw an opportunity to promote his beloved home town of Portland to the world.

Portland is a beautiful town located our the south west coast of Victoria, home to approximately 10,000 people it is a small town with a great community feel.
Portland offers visitors a wealth of opportunities to explore rugged landscapes, discover a colourful history, get back to nature, surf some great waves, hoist a sail in a brisk wind, catch a fish, wander historic streets and dine on great local food and wine.

I filmed this cute little Koala strolling down the street in Portland while I was having coffee at Lido Larder. His eventually made his way safely to a nearby tree.
